ABSTRACT REQUIREMENTS
All abstracts must be submitted in English.
Any individual may only submit two (2) abstracts where they are identified as the presenter.
All conference registration, travel, and hotel costs are paid by the presenter(s).
The submitter will be responsible for meeting all deadlines and requirements regarding the abstract; failure to meet the deadline or requirements will result in abstract withdrawal.
If an abstract is accepted, the submitter agrees to attend the conference, be present at their poster during designated timeframes, and engage with conference attendees.
Title clearly reflects the abstract and is related to the conference theme of neuroscience nursing.
No title changes can be made once the abstract has been submitted.
Purpose of the poster abstract needs to be clearly and concisely stated.
Please include an introduction, purpose/problem statement, methodology of research or data collection, results, and conclusions/outcomes.
Abstract word limit 250-300 (excluding title & references)

Review and Selection
Each abstract will be evaluated through a blinded, peer-review process by members of the Conference Planning Committee. Notification of abstract selection or non-selection will be made by Friday July 26, 2024 end of the business day 17:00 MST
Poster Set Up:
All posters will be mounted during the following times in the poster hall, located in the Sonntag Pavilion:
Monday, October 21, 2024: between 08:00 and 16:00
Tuesday, October 22, 2024: prior to conference: 07:00-07:30 a.m.
Poster Sessions
Poster viewing sessions will be held during conference breaks and lunch. Poster presenters will need to stand by their poster and be prepared to answer questions from the poster session attendees. If you have more than one poster to present, it will be your responsibility to designate a co-author to present as necessary.
Poster Removal
Please remove your poster immediately following the last break on day 2 of the conference, or at the conclusion of the conference.
Preparing Your Onsite Poster:
Poster size must be no larger than 36 height X 48 wide

Title
Presenter/Author information (including credentials)
Abstract Description: Include the abstract description at the top of the poster with a clear purpose statement that highlights poster significance.
Introduction: State the problem, current state, or performance improvement (PI)/quality improvement (QI) project.
Objectives: List the 2-3 learning objectives that were included in your abstract submission.
Methods: Describe the procedures, participants, measurements, and protocols used in the study and include the scope of research.
Outcomes/Evaluation Results: Present data in the form of graphs, tables, and photos that pertain to the research, or QI/PI project
Conclusion/Nursing Implications: Clearly list key findings, interpretation, and management implications and applications.
Bibliography/References: Includes sourced evidence identified in your abstract submission (AMA format)
